Subject: COE Proposed Regulatory Seminar
ITCS Memo # 1387

The St. Louis Corps of Engineers will be hosting a public Proposed Regulatory Seminar meeting on May 3rd and 4th at the Holiday Inn in Festus Missouri between the hours of 8 am and 11:30 am.

This meeting will define Navigable Waters, Waters of the United States, Wetlands, Discharge, Fill Material, Dredge Material along with an explanation of the COE Permit process.

It will also discuss Mitigation Procedures as well as the Enforcement Activities for any unauthorized development activities within the Corps district.

This is the perfect opportunity to find out how the Corps of Engineers works with regards to the permitting process. Please plan to attend. There is no verbal or written response necessary, just stop by either one of these days.

As company managers it would be a good idea for us to find out how the system works so that as an industry we can better respond to these request for permits when they come across our desk each day.

Look forward to seeing you there. Thanks, TMSeals
