Remarks: The Coast Guard is issuing a Special Local Regulation for this event. The river will be closed to traffic at the above indicated times in the event area, a one hour opening is scheduled from 6PM to 7PM for commercial traffic only. The Coast Guard Patrol Commander will be standing by on VHF-FM channel 16 during the event. Vessel operators should contact the Coast Guard Patrol Commander via VHF-FM channel 16 to arrange for passage during the event. Additional details will be issued via a Local Notice to Mariners. U.S. Coast Guard Group Ohio Valley will be making the Broadcast Notice to Mariners via VHF-FM radio, commencing 48 hours prior to the event. Mariners are advised to use caution when transiting the area.
