ITCS Memo # 1750

To: RIAC Members
From: Group Upper

We are starting to receive reports of shallow spots on the river. With the current water level UM mile 688-689 could become a problem within the next week. Current plan (as of five minutes ago) is for the WYACONDA to head north first as soon as the Dubuque opens up the flood walls, maybe as soon as Saturday. Hopefully they can mark a good channel though this area. The Corps has been made aware of the problem. The forecasted river stages for a south run will still be to high to work buoys for another week or so.
