Subject: Draft & tow size advisory UMR mile 00.0-174.0
ITCS Memo # 1796

Based on current river conditions and for the purpose of maintaining the integrity of the channel and buoys, RIAC advises that tow width not exceed 5 barges wide and 10' draft (northbound and southbound) between UM mile 174.0 and UM mile 0.0. RIAC members will contiously monitor river conditions, as they change we will update this advisory.
