Due to recent events, the US Army has increased security on Arsenal Island above Lock 15. The Rock Island Arsenal's intent is not to allow any tow to lay along the Illinois shore from UM mile 485.1 (Gordon Light) to 483.4 (Lock 15 Daymark). Rock Island security personnel may board any vessels that hold up along the bank at this location. For additional information contact:
