Subject: Fast Fall on Lower Ohio
ITCS Memo # 2259

Please be aware that stages are falling on the lower ohio river at a rate much faster than predicted. The Dam 52 gauge has been falling .2" per hour. At the present rate the ACOE predicts that Dam #52 may go up as early as Thursday, May 12. Please remember that drawdown conditions may exist in the Dam 52 pool in the coming days and draft may become a navigational issue.
