MSU Paducah has issued the following restrictions from Mile 958 to Mile 961 Ohio RIver due to low water and resticted channel width and depth:

Beginning in the morning of 27 JUL 05, the Coast Guard will be imposing the following navigation restrictions. Low water conditions exist and are expected to continue in the vicinity of Lock and Dam 53. As a result of these conditions commercial vessels shall not meet, overtake or pass other commercial vessels between Ohio River Mile 958.0 and 961.0 and tows are restricted to 108 feet in width.
