LOCK CLOSURE, MISSISSIPPI RIVER

LOCK 18, UMR MILE 410.5

1. LOCK No. 18, UMR Mile 410.5, will be closed to all navigation

on 16 November from 0700 to 1800 hours, 17 November from 0700 to 1800,

and 18 November from 0700 to 1800 to perform temporary repairs on the

#1 miter gate.

2. The Lock will reopen each evening following the closure and will remain

open until the scheduled closure on the following morning.

3. Towboat operators are requested NOT to tie up on the guidewalls

during these closure periods.

3. This notice is subject to change pending river conditions at time of closure.
