With the St. Louis gage reading(-0.7) on 11/21/05 the Pathfinder found 11.5 feet of water at this location. If the St. Louis River gage would fall to a (-3.5) there would be less than a 9-ft project depth at this location.
With the St. Louis river gage forecasted to approach (-2.0) in about a week the ACOE St. Louis district Dredging Coordinator plans on moving the Dredge America to the St. Louis Harbor this weekend and do this job first. It should only take 2 days to complete, and then move just upstream to work at the lower entrance to the Chain of Rocks Canal.
