The Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District has informed industry that extensive repairs to the sheet pile cells will be made in the summer/fall of 2006. These repairs will result in extended closures of the 1200 foot chamber.

The Corps has proposed holding a meeting in Paducah on either January 10th or January 11th, 2006. The purpose of the meeting will be to review the extent of the repairs, formulate a plan for closing the chamber and then clearing the queue and determining dates that would minimize the impacts to industry.
