Subject: UMR Lock 20 & 22 closures
ITCS Memo # 2340

Lock and Dam No. 20, UMR Mile 343.2, will be closed to navigation beginning 0700 on 12 January 2006 and continue to be closed to navigation until 1730 on 15 Jan 2006. The closure is required to make bushing repairs, I-bar repairs, strut arm repairs and coupler repairs to miter gates #1 and #3.

Lock and Dam No. 22, UMR Mile 301.2,
Will be closed to navigation beginning at 0700 on 18 January 2006 and continue to be closed to navigation until 1730 on 19 January 2006. Lock and Dam No. 22 will again be closed to navigation beginning at 0700 on 24 January 2006 and continue to be closed to navigation until 1730 on 25 January 2006. The closures are required to install adjusting appurtenances to the #1, #2, #3 and #4 miter gate machinery.
