Subject: Opening of the UMR
ITCS Memo # 2362

At present Lock #19 is on schedule to reopen on 3/15/06. The St Louis
and Rock Island Districts will be open for 24 hour lockings, while the St Paul Distict will not be open for 24 hour lockings until 3/19/06. River conditions are reported to be fair to good with reference to ATONS. There is no ice reported as far north as Dubuque
with 15" to 16" still reported in Lake Pepin. All bridges are operational as of 3/10/06.
