Lock No. 24, Upper Mississippi River Mile 273.4, Lock No.25, Upper Mississippi River Mile 241.4, and Mel Price Locks, Upper Mississippi River Mile 200.5

1. All navigation interests are advised that effective immediately until further notice, the St. Louis District is imposing a 105-foot width restriction on all tows which traverse the subject locks. Ice formation along the walls of the lock chambers has prompted this decision. All navigation interests should be alert for, and abide by, any special instructions that may be issued by the Lockmaster in conjunction with this situation.

2. All tows are cautioned to be alert for changing conditions and possible hazards due to ice formations. Severe navigation problems can always be expected throughout the ice-forming season.
