Subject: Channel closure Mile 82 UMR for salvage operation
ITCS Memo # 2538

The navigation channel at approximate mile 82 UMR is expected to be closed beginning 0600 28 May and possibly closed for 2 to 3 days (24 hours each day) in order to raise the sunken barge located mid-channel.

The salvage rig arrived on scene today and is setting up to begin
salvage operations.
