ITCS Memo # 2601

Lock No. 19, UMR Mile 364.3, will be closed to all navigation from 0700 to 1900 on Monday, 15 October 2007. The purpose of this closure is to remove the upper service gate and secure the service gate to the supports on the landside of the lower lockwall. This closure is necessary to prepare for the winter closure and the continuing Major Rehab.
Towboat operators are requested NOT to tie up on the guidewalls during this closure period.
This notice is subject to change pending river conditions at the time of the closure.
