Chain of Rocks Canal, Upper Mississippi River (UMR) Mile 194

All navigation interests are advised that the Mississippi River will be closed to all navigation between UMR Mile 194 and UMR Mile 196 on 14 November
2007 from 0800 to 1400 hours to allow a construction dredge contractor (LW
Matteson) to sink a dredge pipe across the channel at approximately UMR Mile 194.3.

The contract dredge will be operating on the right descending bank of the Mississippi River at the confluence of the Missouri River. The dredge pipe will be routed on the right descending bank above UMR Mile
194.3 and on the left descending bank at the head of the Chain of Rocks Canal.

This dredge work is associated with an ongoing multi-year construction project and is not part of our maintenance dredging activity.
