Subject: St. Louis Gage to Drop to 7' by January 22/23
ITCS Memo # 2631

Cold temperatures over the upper Mississippi River basin this weekend could result in a significant loss in flow ("freeze-up") at St Louis beginning this weekend. Without the "freeze-up", the St Louis stage is anticipated to fall from the current 10 feet to about 7 feet by January 24. With the "freeze-up", the St Louis stage may fall to the 5 foot range by January 24. Please stay tuned for updates. Thanks!
