Today around 1430 Lock #25 experienced a problem with the gusset pin backing out due to the lower gates not being plumb. At this time the lock is shut down until the engineers can determine if safe locking operations can resume. If they are unable to resume operations I will meet with Andy Schimpf to determine if the towing industry can assist in any way to help expedite mobilization of the crane or in any manner to begin the repairs.
