Subject: Lock # 17 Closure
ITCS Memo # 2649

Lock #17 is expected to go out of service due to high water late pm on 4/21 or early in the am 4/22. Water tops the upper gates at 18.2. The forecast has the river cresting at 18.4 on April 24th. The lock is not expected to open back up until the 27th. We will keep you posted as conditions change or the lock gets closer to reopening.
