Event: Thunder Over Louisville Airshow & Fireworks Display Ohio River Mile 603.2 - 604.3 Date: April 19, 1997 Time: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Local Time Remarks: The Coast Guard is issuing a Special Local Regulation for this event, The river will be closed to traffic from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the event area. There will be a one hour period from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM when commercial vessel traffice will be allowed to transit the area. The Coast Guard Patrol Commander will be standing by on VHF-FM channel 16 during the event. Additional details will be issued via a Local Notice to Mariners. Mariners are advised to use caution when transitng the area.

2. Event: Kentucky Derby Festival Great Steam Boat Race Ohio River Miles 597.0 - 604.O Date: April 30, 1997 Time: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Local Time Remarks: The Coast Guard is issuing a Special Local Regulaton for this event. The river will be closed to traffic from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the event area. The Coast Guard Patrol Commander will be standing by on VHF-FM channel 16 during the event. Additional details vall be issued via a Local Notice to Mariners.
