Subject: MILE 634.8 - MILE 634.1 UMR - FIREWORKS DISPLAY/WATERWAY CLOSURE

On July 3, 2009, from 9:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., the Marquette Independence Day Celebration, a barge based fireworks display, will be held between approximate Miles 634.8 and 634.1. The COTP Upper Mississippi River has closed the river for this event. Mariners are urged to exercise caution in the area during this event.
