Subject: MILE 698.4 - MILE 697.5 UMR - FIREWORKS DISPLAY/WATERWAY CLOSURE

On July 2, 2009, from 10:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., the Riverfest 2009, a land based fireworks display, will be held between Miles 698.4 and 697.5. The COTP Upper Mississippi River has closed the river during this event. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution when transiting the area.
