| Comments: EFFECTIVE 11 April 2005 - There exists a potential for damage along the Upper I-wall bulkhead slot due to vertical armor now missing in this area. In accordance with Nav Notice 1 - Tows in this area should have a minimum of two deckhands with fenders stationed at the head end of every tow 100 feet or greater in width. Additional personnel shall be required at the stern if the lock operator determines that it is necessary to protect this area from damage. |
